Open Lecture with Darryl J. Mitry ”Main Problems of Monetary System”

Darryl J. Mitry earned his PhD from the University of Southern California and is a Research Fellow of several institutes, a U.S. Fulbright Scholar and member of the Consulting Group Economics Council. His primary research studies are in the fields of international trade, marketing management, finance and banking. He has contributed numerous published articles in business economic journals. His research revealed that the U.S. economy was structurally imbalanced, and he correctly forecast the real estate downturn of 2007, financial crisis of 2008, and subsequent economic recession.  He was one of the few economists who took timely personal action before the market downturn.

Dr. Mitry’s presentation identifies what is wrong with the world monetary system and how it is responsible for most of our global economic problems. He describes the connection between distortions inherent in the current system to the unfortunate development of flawed structural changes in national economies. He proposes logical conclusions for restructuring the international monetary system.
