Education

BEROC organizes modern economic educational program for Belarusian BA, MA and PhD students, professors and policy makers. By now more than 30 events were conducted: Annual International Economic Conference, Post-Graduate School in Economics, Student School on Modern Economics and Economic Research, open lectures, Workshop Series for the National Bank Experts, Program for Journalists and other events.

Workshop "Macroeconomic Development and Analysis"

On December 9, 2014 BEROC held workshop "Macroeconomic Development and Analysis" for experts of the National Bank, Ministry of Economy, and civil society organizations.

Workshop "Game Theory: A New Tool for Economists"

On October 31-November 1, 2014 BEROC held 2-day workshop "Game Theory: A New Tool for Economists" for experts of Ministry of Economy.

Postgraduate School in Economics 2013-2014

In 2013-2014 academic year BEROC held the Third Postgraduate School in Economics for Belarusian scholars.

The Fourth Student School

The Fourth Student School in Modern Economics was held in Minsk in November - December 2014 under the financial support of the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency and the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands.

Workshop "Georgia’s Experience in Administrative Reforms"

On June 18-20, 2014 BEROC in partnership with PMCG held workshop "Georgia’s Experience in Administrative Reforms" for representatives of the public administration.

The Third Student School

Belarusian Economic Research and Outreach Center (BEROC) in cooperation with the British Embassy Minsk organized the Third Student School on Modern Economics and Economic Research which was be held in Minsk from September 14 to December 21, 2013.

On August 29, 2013 Belarusian Economic Research and Outreach Center (BEROC) under the financial support of the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency in cooperation with the International Education and Career Advising Center (Lithuania).

Open Seminar “Implementation of Partial Least Squares (PLS) Modeling in Economics and Business Management Research”

BEROC under the financial support of the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (SIDA) organized an open seminar by Dr. Pavel Andreev (University of Ottawa) “Implementation of Partial Least Squares (PLS) Modeling in Economics and Business Management Research”, which took place on August 20, 2013.

Open Lecture ”Money left on the table: An analysis of participation in employee stock purchase plans”

On July 18, 2013 BEROC under the financial support of the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (SIDA) organized an open lecture by Dr. Ilona Babenko (Arizona State University) where she presented her paper “Money left on the table: An analysis of participation in employee stock purchase plans”.

The Second Student School
